Research after research suggests that groups impact behaviour most strongly.
Somehow the effort stops there. That's why Demos Helsinki is setting up a conference to look for the next steps after this important scientific discovery. How precisely groups could spread sustainable lifestyles? That's what PEERSOME is about.
For the event we are gathering a group of leading international experts and practitioners from the fields of psychology, design, economics, cultural studies marketing, technology and business to develop understanding of a powerful new way to combine new business and peer groups.
In terms of sustainability we focus on what really counts homes, transportation and food – by far the biggest consumer-related emission sources.
Speakers and thinkers include
June Flora, Director, Senior Research Scientist, Precourt Energy Efficiency Center, Stanford University
David Fetherstonhaugh, Behavioral Economist, IDEO
Richard Wrigth, Behavioural Science Director at Unilever
Minna Ruckenstein, Senior resarcher, Center for Consumer Research
Brandon Evans, CEO & founder, Crowdtap
Tuuli Kaskinen, Researcher, Demos Helsinki
