Young Europeans with a fresh vision of a sustainable future are invited to participate in a video competition, with the opportunity to win cash and a trip to Copenhagen. The contest asks participants to submit a video on their vision for sustainable living in 20 years’ time. It is open to Europeans born in 1991, 1992 or 1993.
Competition "Generation '92" has been organised by the European Environment Agency (EEA). It has been launched in 2012 to coincide with the UN Sustainable Development Summit in Rio de Janeiro this year, which also marks the 20 year anniversary of the historic Rio Earth Summit.
Alongside cash prizes of several thousand euros, four winners will be invited to take part in an event on sustainable development in Copenhagen on 5 June, and their videos will be promoted by the EEA.
The deadline for submissions is 2 April 2012.
