For 2 days, a group of experts / designers / SPREAD partners gets together at Politecnico di Milano to envision potential for new sustainable lifestyles and their enabling factors.

The SPREAD team has already spent a good part of this year collecting and analyzing promising practices, inspiring talks and technological opportunities – and we are now starting to build scenarios for 2050 and opening a broad social conversation about them. The 2-day Milan workshop is a crucial step in bringing everything one step further. Don't go anywhere!

Here we are! More than 40 super specialists starting to work with the visions. 

Our group is discussing about the food production: Local, self sufficiency and gardening as the most wanted hobby or huge, efficient production units using all the new technics or both paths at the same time. I would go for two path strategy: partly local partly very industrial.

Our group is looking at the ideas cards from the mediterranean point of view. In Italy, for example, fashion is an important part of lifestyles. The cardIntelligent Clothing Collection raised a lot of discussion: what kind of intelligent and functional clothing we could have in the future to support sustainable living? Sustainable clothes can be easily changed in shape and colour and that's how they last many seasons. But could for example a a jacket support a lifestyle change by checking and reporting about body functions?
